We strongly advocate use of open source. Here are some reasons:

Some days ago we had moved a few machines to Linux. The whole experience was wonderful. One of our developers wanted Flash 8 or above . Intially we could not find one. Later we discovered that Flash 8 plugin was not released for Liunx . Worried , DONT BE! All you need is this http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer9.html. YES indeed FLASH PLAYER 9 FOR LINUX.
